Velstech — Digital Universe

VELSTECH

Explore. Build. Experiment.

01 — Journey

Crossing into the system

Scroll drives the camera now. The planet grows from a distant light into a world with weather, grids and night-side settlements.

02 — Journey

Skimming the limb

A pass through the outer glow — watch the atmosphere brighten as you cross it. The volumetric direction the finale will take.

03 — Journey

The universe opens up

Pull back to full system view: rings, tethers and all six orbital nodes tracing their inclined paths.

04 — Journey

Rendezvous

Drift toward the stations. Click any holographic node to fly in close and read its dossier.

02 — Projects

The digital city

Every structure is a VelsTech project. Select a tower — or an entry in the index — to fly in and read its dossier.

03 — AI Lab

The laboratory

A pulsing core ringed by seven research nodes, stitched together with live data lines. Select a node — or an index entry — to inspect it up close.

04 — Tools

The control room

Five holographic consoles, one per discipline. Select a console — or an index entry — to inspect its station.

05 — About

VELSTECH

Technology • Development • AI • Experiments

VelsTech is the one-person practice of Velmurugan Ponraj — an Army veteran of 21+ years turned developer, working from Aundipatti, Theni, Tamil Nadu. He designs, builds and ships software across web, mobile and on-device platforms, then tests it on real hardware before writing it up. Plain language first, jargon last, with honest notes on what didn't work. The working motto is the method: Build. Optimize. Automate.

  • Technology

Systems, runtimes and platforms — understood end to end, from GPU drivers to deployment.

  • Development

Web, mobile and desktop applications built with modern stacks, shipped iteratively and verified by tests.

  • AI

Local open-weight models on AMD silicon, agentic coding workflows and hands-on benchmarking over hype.

  • Experiments

Prototypes and play — fast trials where new ideas earn their first orbit or get discarded. Failures logged.

Working stack

  • TypeScript
  • JavaScript
  • Python
  • React
  • Next.js
  • React Native
  • Flutter
  • Tauri
  • Supabase
  • Cloudflare Workers
  • llama.cpp
  • ROCm
  • Linux
  • Three.js

Milestones

  1. 21+ years

    Indian Army service

Electrical engineer in tank technology, then technical data analyst across hundreds of thousands of equipment items — discipline that carried into engineering.

  2. 2025

    Retrained in data & AI

Google AI Essentials, Google Data Analytics, Python for Everybody (Michigan) and Intro to Scripting (Rice) certificates earned while learning in public on GitHub.

  3. Aug 2026

    velstech.net launched

A trilingual (EN/HI/TA) platform with 50+ articles, 40 free tools and real-hardware LLM benchmarks on an AMD RX 6800M — 826 URLs kept in sync by a generator pipeline and CI.

  4. Sep 2026

    First ships docked

SnapAction (screenshots → next steps) and games.velstech.net with TxtIQ went live; benchscope and VTNexa opened as source; PDF-to-Image runs fully in-browser.

  5. Now

    The universe opens

universe.velstech.net — this cinematic front for the whole practice. Build. Optimize. Automate.

Transmission 02 — What comes next

The universe is built. The missions continue.

  • Just landed

    universe.velstech.net is live

This site shipped as a fully static export hosted alongside velstech.net on Cloudflare Pages — five lazy-loaded WebGL worlds, one planet, no backend.

  • In progress

    Polish passes (Phases 9–12)

Premium shader passes, adaptive quality tuning per device, reduced-motion and keyboard audits, final visual polish.

  • Continuously

    The Lab keeps measuring

Every new benchscope run on the RX 6800M feeds the public benchmark database — measured, estimated and broken things all logged at velstech.net/lab.

  • On the pad

    More craft to dock

WhatsApp Media Cleaner, SnapAction Pro tiers and new browser tools graduate from the lab bench into the Apps orbit as they ship.
